About Us

New Seasons Counseling is a small, dedicated mental health practice based in Massachusetts. We provide individual and couples therapy to help clients navigate life’s challenges, manage emotional distress, and foster lasting growth.

Founded in 2023, our practice is grounded in the belief that healing and change are possible for everyone — and that both our clients and clinicians are always striving toward greater well-being.

Meet Our Clinicians

  • children, teens, adolescents, adults, therapy, behavior support, anxiety, self-esteem, depression, bullying, family conflict

    Sandra Butler, LICSW

I have had the pleasure of working with diverse populations in school settings, hospitals, non-profit agencies, and mental health clinics. I specialize in working with children, adolescents, and young adults who are faced with anxiety, depression, and life transitions.

I am a down-to-earth active listener who strives to create a safe, relaxed, and honest environment for my clients and their families. I have had the most success using a relational and strength based, solution-focused approach with clients.

  • healthy weight, emotional eating, military, first responder, women's issues, women's health

    Lauren Folloni, LICSW

With a warm and nonjudgmental approach, I help adults navigate life's twists and turns. I specialize in the life transitions faced by young adults, women's issues and women's health, military and first responders and their partners, and intuitive eating/health at every size. I aim to provide a safe and supportive environment, alongwith resources and tools designed to help you heal, thrive, and live your best life.

  • perinatal, postpartum, marriage tension, disconnect, intimacy, couples, people-pleasing, self-esteem, over-thinking

    Melissa Varrecchia, LCSW

I am passionate about teaching others how to interpret and operate their emotions as a strength, rather than a hinderance. I specialize in perinatal mental health, postpartum mood changes, couples, career, and adoption. I am trained in Gottman Method Level 1 for Couples. I enjoy supporting others who identify as highly sensitive or people-pleasers to gain confidence and boundaries.

I have a compassionate, intuitive approach that is holistic and practical. This means that we will explore various aspects that could be impacting your well-being, including physical health, trauma, childhood experiences, and work/life balance. I will offer feedback to empower you to grow and make changes at your own pace so that you can reach your personal goals.

  • children, teens, ADHD, self-esteem, school issues, social skills, emotional skills, collaborative

    Olivia Easton, MSW

Every child deserves to feel seen, heard, and supported — especially when life feels hard to navigate.

I help young people navigate challenges such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, low self-esteem, and difficulties at school or with peers. My goal is to provide a safe, affirming space where children and teens can express themselves freely, learn to cope with life’s stressors, and build the confidence to grow into their full selves.

I typically work with children and adolescents ages 6 to 18, and I understand that starting therapy can feel intimidating — not just for kids, but for caregivers too. I strive to create a welcoming, developmentally appropriate space where young people feel respected, supported, and empowered. My approach is trauma-informed, strengths-based, and deeply client-centered. I often incorporate creative strategies like art, storytelling, play, and movement to keep sessions engaging and meaningful — especially for kids who may struggle to express themselves through traditional talk therapy.

I also collaborate with caregivers and, when appropriate, school staff to ensure the child receives consistent and individualized support across their environments. My goal is always to advocate for the child’s needs while helping them build the skills to thrive both emotionally and socially.

  • Couples therapy provides a safe, neutral environment to explore challenges and strengthen your relationship. Your therapist will help you identify unhelpful patterns, improve communication, and rebuild trust to create a stronger emotional connection. Sessions may be a combination of individual and joint, which will be determined based on the best interest of the couple.

  • The length of therapy varies depending on your goals and the issues you’re addressing. Some clients benefit from short-term work focused on specific concerns, while others choose ongoing therapy for deeper exploration and continued support.

  • It’s completely normal for one partner to feel unsure about starting therapy. We encourage you to start by setting up a consult, or intake session together with an agreement to find a therapist who you both feel comfortable with. Be open with one another and your therapist so you can explore the different expectations or barriers present for you both.

Please note, half our staff is strictly telehealth, while the other half is hybrid. Many clients choose telehealth for flexibility and convenience, while others prefer meeting in person. You can choose what works best for you.

  • Our clinicians do not prescribe medication, but we can refer you to trusted medical providers or collaborate with your current prescriber when appropriate.

No-shows or cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice may be charged a $65 fee (based on insurance and payment structure of the client.) We understand that emergencies happen — please reach out to your therapist directly if something unexpected occurs.

  • The first step is to contact us through our online form or by phone. If you have a request for the therapist you would like to work with, please indicate this. Otherwise, we’ll schedule a brief consultation call to discuss your needs and match you with a therapist who’s a good fit. After that, we’ll verify insurance coverage (if applicable), have you complete online intake paperwork, and then schedule your first session.
